Airlifted patient, Kate Oliver, daughter of Clare and Terry Oliver, proprietors of the Fairway Tavern will be guest speaker at the event. Kate was airlifted by the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance in 2010 following a serious car crash in Welwyn Garden City, in which her car collided with a tree. Kate, who worked as a croupier at a casino in London before her accident said: "After suffering a traumatic brain injury, the Air Crew quickly transported me to Addenbrookes in Cambridge where I was a patient for 8 weeks. Without them and the fantastic staff at Addenbrookes I would never have survived.”
